That drill looks a monster.

Apparently it will do a 28mm bit in concrete, 32mm in wood and 13mm in steel.

I wish I'd got a picture of it without the dust removal system attached - it suddenly looks a lot more compact.

That dust extractor is impressive though - I tested it with a concrete wall and even with the drill turned round so the battery was at 9 o'clock it still sucked all the dust. It would be ideal for tradesmen working inside a house or such. It's really clever how it retracts/telescopes as you push into the wall.

They're also doing a free battery offer at the moment apparently - buy tool as a kit and you can claim an extra battery FOC.

He also brought out their latest new product range - the 40v system. We had a cordless grinder and an SDS drill with detachable dust extractor system. Both were very impressive.

I did ask about the cordless grease gun but he didn’t know any details at the moment.
They look handy bits of kit Steevo! How long did the strimmer last on power?

Years ago they had a bad rep for burning clutches out round here and dewalt were very popular.

It is always suspect to ask someone who has spent a heap of money on something for their honest opinion.

However I will try; it is heavy - I have a 741 as you see but wouldn't want it on my 627.

A couple of the chaps on the farm have used it extensively as well as me and so their opinion is possibly more value than mine - the answer is - sell the fork grapple, this is great.

I have done a lot with it too, both in the heap and fresh out of sheds, since we have had a spreadabale our cattle muck won't really work with the old grapple on a fork but it still rolled forward most of the time when using a general purpose bucket without the grapple. None of thos problems worry this bucket grapple at all, a full load every time, you can go up to a wall with it too unlike the old fork and grapple.

This is an x-Form bucket (Cherry) and it won't bend or break ever as far as I can see.

Well I am looking at the jcb one to go on a 1987 jcb 3cx and find the 8 ft dung grab good. But it has its limitations when I am composting the dung so
How do you find the weight compared to your old grab as that’s the worry I have as the jcb 3cx has a 2.2 tonne lift approx and would max it out every so often with the dung grab with pas 100 compost from the base off the stock pile

It had a pair of 6Ah batteries and in the 20mins or so I used it I had only dropped them 2 bars. It has a clever auto torque feature too that varies the speed/torque depending on the power required to cut whatever you're doing. I was doing a bit between the field and hedge so 5' high wild oats, nettles, tall grass etc and it seems to walk it.

£200 + VAT for that body only, compared to £675 for the Husqvarna with battery and charger seemed a big easier to stomach, especially when the batteries can be used on other tools too. Looking it up though, the Husqvarna battery is a 9.4Ah 36v battery so quite a bit more capacity. For £200 though I'd hope so! Reviews of the Husqvarna battery don't look that great either... https://g.co/kgs/9CN3Pj

I have no idea how heavy this grab is, however it can max out quite regularly if the boom is out at all on the Manipoo, I am guessing that it could be more than twice as heavy as the old muckfork and grab although my fork was only 6 feet and this is 8.
