Grass is growing at last, lots of ruminants very happy.

Spreading in a gale, it is all coming out one side.

No prospect of doing any harvesting, so started ploughing ex Wheat land ahead of W Barley.

Started harvesting veg today. Thankfully a gentle start as this is all new to us.

700 savoys ordered, cut as close to the required spec as we thought we could get, and delivered to Riverford.

They’re graded very quickly against a set of criteria resulting in a percentage score, with anything over 90% as the target. We were chuffed to get 97%!

We are too spread about for the magnum (uncomfortable on the road) and we needed to downsize to spread the workload across both tractors

To be fair it wouldn’t be a bad run for you though, just have to contend with about a million lorries on the 49

Had to stop last night as it wouldn’t go up the trunking to the drum

I'm going to be less keen to cut wet barley. Cut some at 21% on Thursday and it's been painfully slow to dry. It's for malting so can't put air temp above 65.
