How many beans does one person pick per day?
In a good crop our best picker can do up to 150 kgs per day. She put her son through University that way.
That’s some workforce! Do you have your own fridges for storage?
Yes but beans usually go straight off the farm it’s better to cool them once. Tenderstem broccoli however is cooled overnight. Then it leaves the next morning.
