Too hot for the dogs so moving sheep with quads only is very very hard work, 4am starts while it’s hot now

Delivered a tonne of broad beans this morning while the team at home picked another 750kg. Had to stop around 11.30 as it was just too hot for them. Plan to pick the last 250kg this evening.

Complete waste of time as the first tonne was all rejected due to too much broad bean fly damage and what was picked this morning is likely to be just as bad.
With harvesting costs of around £2000/acre we’re going to have to write off this next half acre:

it actually gets very little use cos it's 32' long and I can't get it into most places but we are hauling through town next and I can get a few on it .

Bought it with a stock box on about 10 yrs ago and shortened the stock box to put on a 24 ' trailer .

Hereford Round Table are having a music festival on the 7/8 August in the barn and they want to borrow my bale trailers for a stage so I thought I would rebed it with steel instead of re-boarding it .
