You could always harvest the “plant powered” caterpillars and then use them in eco-friendly meals in the kitchen.

That takes “sustainability” to a whole new level…..and they are fully renewable too-an endless supply. Have I mentioned net-zero carbon?

It’s a thought, but if caterpillar emissions are anything like the dogs after eating brassicas we could become the next big enemy of Greta!

If only I had a chance to try them! They’re all set to be packed up tomorrow and sold through a neighbours milk vending machine. Been doing up to 600/week.

Is that 600 whole trays a week? That must take some bulk buying ingredients!? Look fab, is that the farm with vending machines in Exeter, Ris?

Finally got it all up n running, started on the beans as they go Thursday.
Any tips welcome
20% going in, had the beans at 30-35*c for an hour, now cooling them down.
Have I done enough or to much to them

Oooh, crystal. Been a long time (using up old stock). One hour spray window at 5pm. All preem on now, and wheat wasnt far off peaking in this field.

Plough on tomorrow as I attempt to turn 14ha of grass into wheat.

Moved 130 this morning to fresh ground, not ideal after the tups went in 5 days ago but it will all be ok in the end.

I always give the dog a run at lunchtime up a super and wide grass track between two arable fields. When it's combinables I might get to see one or possibly a couple of days of activity

Today was different with the first potato crop I've seen grown in one field and harvest / ploughing in full swing
