Been working on an outdoor pen for a few weekends. Finally got finished and got it in use this weekend. Today moved woolly live and found 6 volunteers to join us for Sunday lunch next weekend . And this afternoon with no warning my best and favourite cow gave me a heifer calf from our new bull . So celebrating dry January style

because of the flooding we had just prior to harvest, I am planting mung beans into the Durum stubble to make use of the soil moisture

pretty much

we do have two distinct cropping seasons, summer ( warm season crops ) & winter ( cool season crops ), but there is enough enough choices & diversity to be able to plant something just about anytime of the year

Well I've just had the 2 worst days I have ever had . I think I had the omicron virus butbi didn't bother testing . It's hard to imagine how you can go to feel so ill in such a short time . It's now clearing up just as fast .!!
