Today at work

Been quiet on here recently, not because I've not been busy, more so that none of the work I have been doing has had interesting visuals.

My recent projects have included the change of use of an agricultural field and barn for Canine Day Care; Class R conversion of an agricultural building to an accountants office; Class R of an agricultural building to a light industrial facility and most interestingly the diversification of a fruit farm to include an ice cream production facility.

Elsewhere my collegues have secured plannign consent for a house on a builders yard in the Green Belt after 8 years of applications setting a fallback position.

That is impressively good mock-ups!

I will pass on your comments to our design team. All done in house.

The original design and planning drawings were done by our senior designer who is still hand-drawn (after 30 years why change) and was basic modelling in Archicad by myself and the final renders by our most recent recruit, a graduate from Leicester who specialises in the visual aspect and is passionate about renewables.

We have come a long way in the past 2 years, from two members of staff we now have 13!

......At last ....After yrs and yrs of bad luck I get a small whiff of good luck .
Bought a couple of draw tickets a few weeks ago in local pub ....can't remember what the draw was for 🤷‍♂️
Anyway apparently the draw was Wed night and first prize was my ticket .....I didn't know until this arrived this morning on the doorstep.

Not sure what most of it does but no doubt for an investment of £2 it can't be bad 😀 😉
