Whilst all you lot were enjoying the scenery, stuck in the mill plant roof fighting with an auger that wasn't working properly, after a 2 hour battle got the pulley and then the bearing off...

Then managed to get the 15foot long flight out for a look back in the workshop.

Spotted a bit of wear on the old flight, so found a 'new' one in the store.

Need it tonight though so had to crack on.

Hows your massey going?

She's doing well thanks! No disasters so far

Only things I would say are she's very jumpy when she's cold, the cab suspension maybe wasn't a great idea given the fact there's farm roads on the mainland that are better than our public roads!

All in all though, love her

You have a good memory!

Went to move a hay round bale for @Mrs Holwell 's horses with the 3CX this morning but one front tyre was flat :banghead:

Did the old "backhoe right out & loader right up" trick to get the weight off the tyre to back down to the workshop then repaired the tyre. I thought, while it was there I couldn't put off repairing the split rear wheel rim any longer...

View attachment 470054 Did a bit of window shopping at the Castle Douglas Luing sale, nothing was on fire most went for just above commercial prices and there were some terrific stock. Not sure if it's at Work or not but let's call it market analysis and research. Thought some of the Bulls were a bit over fed but otherwise would have been proud to take any of the stock home, well done to all the vendors. Though I spotted a fellow TFF member but wasn't sure so kept my powder dry.
Would you be at the Luing sale @Chae1 ?
