Axle droped down and stripped the offending items out in under two hours.

Then rang dick turpin aka main stealers all we needed was a new uj and a yoke, they're not available separately so a new shaft is £300, they don't have one in stock but will have one for first thing in the morning.View attachment 658812

Kramp click do a range of universal joint crosses, they go on the diameter of the end caps and the measurement across the ends with two caps on. Well worth a look ..........
Hopefully the dimensions are not oddball, but easily measured as the shaft is out

April is flying by and we are all fed up of the “April Showers” by now. Still Mr Weatherman says we are in for rising temperatures and maybe a wee bit of sunshine next week.

Weather aside, the DW Clark gang marches on, the oversite works north of Stratford has grown, as has the amount of drainage and sewer pipes we have been asked to put in.

A new job near Alcester installing around about 800 metres of 50mm water pipe has started. Careful in the garden then trenching through the fields to the nearest meter.

We have piped up an open ditch with 1050mm Ø twin wall pipe. Flood mitigation works, a new building is planned adjacent to the ditch and the client wants to avoid any possible flooding.

A bit of ditching near Quinton, Stratford upon Avon. We were putting up a fence on this site last week and had one of those, “Oh whilst you have your digger on site, any chance you could just . . . . ” phone calls. Of course we can, we are DW Clark, a lot more than just drainage.

Another great weeks lads, thanks for all you graft, have a fabulous weekend . . . I know I will if I can as lucky as the boss lady. The only person I know who could back a 3 legged blind former pit pony with a 60 year old, 25 stone, drunk jockey wearing flip flops and still win!!
