Small world!!!
Yes, a business purchase. We have found that our clients really do appreciate the aerial shots as well as drainage plans. Some have said it is easier to locate a drain from the drone photo than it is off of a plan! That is what I use it for - lookering, bird scaring and drain spotting so far
Snazzy Renault! As we race towards the end of June and the solstice has passed, some say winter is on its way but to me summer has just started. Glorious sunshine, busy, busy, busy and vitamin D levels on the rise, even for us office wallers.
A little wet spotting near Henley in Arden to kick the week off for a couple of the lads, a nice job they did too and one of them is becoming more “arty” every time he has a camera in his hand.
Onto Cheltenham Racecourse for a bit more wet spotting. A different approach was required here, working off board, low ground pressure tyres, cut and roll the turf and mind the irrigation main. The lads have done a great job so far, very tidy.
A new car park in Chipping Campden has also started this week, the topsoil was ploughed up and removed to a local farm where it was spread and levelled. Boss man was happy as unlike last week where it was like pushing boulders, this week it was as smooth as you could have wished for. Drains have started to go in, all that is left is a compacted stone base with a decorative shingle topping and the marking of the parking bays. The client is not taking any chances with this one, railway sleepers are the order of the day, should look really rather nice when finished, even I do say so myself.
Gloucester is still growing at an alarming rate, even with the lack of water, our main man is quite enjoying his mowing roll me thinks, he always seems happy at the worst of times but when you phone him when he is mowing he is positively chipper!!
The weatherman is promising a lot of sunshine and warm weather for the coming week, good ol’ boy, keep the sunscreen on lads and don’t forget your hats too. Thanks for all your hard work this week, enjoy the weekend. Me, I can almost taste the cider and smell the flowers of the beer garden.
