Friday is on us once more!

A bit cooler this week although boss lady was not enjoying the heat. Here is the “Famous Five” version of what was said “Golly it is a tad warm today, whoever mentions it being not warm enough is a real pongo and I will have stern word with them the silly Billy’s”. I Locked the office door and call NATO to see if they could send a help!!

There have been reports of rain in some areas, none that we are working in fortunately, although there is going to be a time when we are going to need it.

Chipping Campden should be finished today, Boss man and main man Az adding the finishing touches. The job has gone really well and is looking good.

We are back up Monks Kirby way, nice little job going on there. New mains going in, connect the existing drains to it. for a start. Asked the lads how many junctions they had used. Drone pilot says “don’t know, photographed it so you can count them up”. I do admire and equally stand in wonder with the initiative of some of our chaps some days. That said though, the client likes the lads up there, Steve, Luke and David , they keep getting asked to go back and do more, so they are not all bad eh.

Lydney has finally kicked off; This weeks A team Edd and John are digging in the mains. Slow going at the moment, between aggregate suppliers and cross field utilities am not surprised. Nice bit of safe digging though lads.

Would you believe, only one supplier could get the spec we needed out of the multitude of aggregate suppliers in the area. Then they have to supply their concrete and tarmac plants first. Somedays I feel like wearing a wig just so I have some hair to pull out.

Nice to see the fitter has finally marked the door around the workshop, was getting worried that it would only be a matter of time before someone backed into it!

Shame about the footy, them lads did a bloody good job and should be proud about getting that far. I did have a feeling that if they had gone on and won the world cup not much work would have been done Monday. Still Rugby World Cup next year, proper sport where you get knocked down on purpose and if you even think of doing a “Neymar” the ref will bin you!

Been another stunning week chaps, as always many thanks for your hard work, it is greatly appreciated. Have a great weekend and we will see you all Monday.

Rain stopped play so back on the spanner’s today, went to the airport for a couple of hours this morning.
Air regular packed up on one of the busses, doors keep opening when it went round a corner

Then went to swap a power beyond valve on a 6920 but no pics:rolleyes:, after that called to sort a couple of issues on the neighbours Bateman.

Broken roll pin in the front suspension control arm so the suspension was stuck at the bottom.

And a wiring fault on one of the sections, turned out it was a broken solder joint where the section control had been wired in.

This bit went well tonight, catching the cow in over 40 acres of bog and finally getting the calf in the handling pen too. Washed off and left in a little paddock overnight ready for Tendring Show - and then the cow jumped a (high) double fence in to a garden

Fortunately caught up, led through the front garden and back round to this higher section
