Then headed home to get a little field of spring wheat off that’s been bugging since the day it was mauled in with the drill :oops:

Though I would tag a few people who use to be regular contributors to the t@w thread, not seen some for quite some time and other just a few day/weeks. Hopefully everyone is ok? and I knows I see some on other threads but thought a tag may entice some back the the t@w thread. It seems to be the usual crowd these days and getting less people posting somehow:oops:
Not that I’m complaining about the content, I even enjoy reading what @boyo had been up to:p, but the more the merrier I say(y)

@Flossie @eulb @Philip Watkins @Hurdle bunter @REStracTORATION @choochter @holwellcourtfarm @T Bourne @CrevisbigX

I’m sure I’ve missed a few so feel free to tag anyone you think is missing.
Thanks:)

It's nice to see @Rimjob posting on here too:). I mean who can forget that pic of a used nappy. Debatably the all time best pic on this thread:ROFLMAO:

What you need to do is take pics from a few days or week of work then post them as if you did it all in a day. I reckon that is @Phil P s secret. Either that or he has a load of stock photo's that are reused:D
Nope I don’t save pics up, and if it’s a few from the week I’ll say so(y). I’m genuinely very busy, I’m actually multitasking at the moment, writing this, cutting oats, emptying and taking the pic all at the same time! How awesome is that:D

Last day of summer today. . Boohoo!!

August you have been a wonderful yet annoying month. Warm and busy, rain and busy, vandalism, busy and annoying.

This week has been no different, only 4 days but seems like 6. On the plus side we are no longer in Lydney, the client is happy and so are we as all works currently are relatively local.

The Stratford house job is swimming along; The lads are having fun with the remote control roller. Questions have already been asked them having a go with the drone! The building inspector is very happy with our works to date. Client is even happier as we are pushing on a lot faster than she anticipated. We are up to the required levels for this section, just the type 1 to go in then onto the sewer and water pipe installations.

Drainage around the Hinckley area is moving so quick I cannot keep up, our stone suppliers are struggling too. We have moved around so many sites I have had to start sending maps so their drivers know exactly where we are to avoid any confusion. Not many postcodes for the middle of a field. Got to ask, Do modern day drivers get taught to read a map or is SatNav the only way its done now? I do miss the big red "X" on a photocopy of an OS map with a note saying "about here".

We started on another site yesterday; I have lost count of how many different sites we have been on up there this year. Not all full drainage schemes, some just small wet spots but nonetheless, all important and they all need to be done right. I have to admit I am impressed with the drainage gang, been some late nights and early mornings but they have cracked on.

The boss man is currently looking at some new sewage treatment plant installations for an estate near Stratford upon Avon. Varying problems, from dilapidated soakaways to splits in tanks. Its looking like there will be no let up for the Autumn, glad to hear it I say

He was also asked to look at a drainage problem near Broadway, old clay tiles not working properly. A quick dig and he found the problem, a bit of silt build up! Working with the client we are going to be carrying out more investigations to see if the existing scheme is salvageable or is it more cost effective to simply install a new one.

Thanks for all your hard work this week lads, as always much appreciated. Have a good weekend and we will see you all Monday.
