Daily parts trip to the dealer for bits for the telehandler and some bits for some upcoming jobs. They also have a really good brew machine (which is free;)) also did a spot of window shopping while i was there:D

I don't get it. Definitely my drill, but why can't you run the fan straight off the tractor hydraulics. Went on four different tractors here with no bother.
Anyway, good luck with it. It was my favourite bit of kit, and my favourite job.

It's more to do with the tractor than the drill, our Massey has open center hydraulics so when it's pumping oil for the fan it slows or stops the tractor lifting it's three point linkage.
If i had a John Deere of the same era it would probably work it no problem.
Also if i convert the drill to run on less spool valves it will also go on our back up drilling tractor as well.

The pump itself can’t suck air. But if you have the valve to the tower and the valve to the tanker open at the same time sucking a high volume of slurry from the tower acts as a Venturi and can suck a vacuum on the tanker.
Ah I was thinking they are connecting up to the pump to prime but I see what you mean now
