Do you know if Boswell has a cotton operation near you. I think they farm somewhere in Australia.

Yeah, Boswell's founded Auscott in the early 60's, originally based around Wee Waa in northern NSW. There were a few Californians ( Paul Kahl & Bill Finlay being 2 notable ones ) came over here at that time, looking for land, water & the right climate. They basically started the modern cotton industry here, although it had been grown since the late 1800's ( with little success )
Auscott are a major player here as growers, processors & marketers.
They have farms & gins in all the major cotton growing irrigation valleys . . .
In aberdeen?Boswell still big around here. Grow a lot of field tomatoes aswell. Although they are converting a lot of land to pistachios.
In aberdeen?
Lets see the dead stuff?Irrigating wheat this last few days.
It's scary how dry it is. T1 will go on tomorrow and other irrigated fields still showing promise. No fungicide on remaining fields which is over half my winter corn. Its practically dead and I've written it off as it won't get irrigated now as pots and onions take priority. View attachment 790306
were aberdeen based?No, Bakersfield.

I can't go wider than an 8ft conventional ballast roll because of some of the lanes and gates around here. So every year around this time I get covetous about an end tow. Until that is I find out how much they are.
