Today at work

Needs to have something like South Africa on your profile so we know where you are, it is always interesting to see stuff from elsewhere.

Lots of rugged looking country round there, I am sad enough to have looked at it on the maps and satellite thing. :)
Noted. Ill change that on my profile. Yeah our region is the 2nd largest milk producing area in South Africa

Nice to see your work.
Do you shot blast the chassis before spraying?
And how many coats do you do?
On a restoration no we remove every item then blast them individually
The main castings we try not to blast unless they're really rusty
Grit makes it own problems further down the road
If we do blast the castings we do it before the strip down

Castings get roughly 6-8 coats of about 3 different products
Panels get 12 coats roughly of various products

Getting the builder to screw them down, but thought I'd set them up for a look

I copied them, but made a mistake and made the end curls 50mm radius instead of 50mm diameter... Ooopppsss. Look better bigger though.
Had a look at the herd for the last time this year (unless the plans change)

Looks seriously floodable. You need to watch this:

And also keep an eye out for jökulhlaups - volcano induced floods, they have a small one going at the moment, as you do....
It's a wonderful mad countryside. Have a great time :)

Started raking and baling canola hay today. Crop was cut 16 days ago. Whilst temperatures here have been below average so has rainfall. Less than an inch for last 2 months. No access to irrigation water means the pods would be lucky to fill. A huge amount of cereal and canola crops being cut around us as they will be lucky to finish...
