It was a bit like that round here 6 or 7 years ago, new dairy conversions everywhere, banks flat out telling farmers to put milking sheds in, even the potato farms were converting.
I'm told its now very difficult to get banks to lend for dairy and there's a lot of farms officially and unofficially for sale.
Funny old job.
That's very true. Banks not so keen now.

Was that a refurb from Househam
It is a 2017 ex demo machine that had been out in Ukraine on high clear axles. We had been looking for an older/cheaper Spirit but took the plunge on this one. Compared with our older AR 2500 it's a bit low tech but less to go wrong I hope. They promised to send some spares with it but didn't so I am a bit miffed with them at present. I am in England tomorrow so may make my feelings known. Not even a pipe to fill it for God's sake.
