We had a tree with a lean on it I didn’t like.

So as the missus is the only certified chainsaw user I sent her off to fell it (I supervised from the ranger )

Found out why it was leaning so glad we brought it down for safety

Another day of rubbish weather, fitted the 12 new dust socks on the grist bin to sieve the air out after the hammer mill more efficiently than the 20 year old ones. Local dress maker made them for me, she was intrigued.

Space is too limited up there for good perspective but they are each 7 feet long.

Mill hopper grinding yet another tonne of barley and wheat. If you look carefully you can see how far I usually fill it.

Was dry enough to get it hooked on yesterday.. ? silly idea in hindsight

I bought a tipping trailer at an auction some 160 km away figuring a lorry could haul it. That turned out tot be somewhat more expensive than I would've likes so I decided to make it a small adventure and collect it. 160 km, 115 litres of diesel and 10 hours.
It was fun though.

Edit: 160 km one way, so 320 in total.
