That’s a different way of covering a pit, is that common over there, I’ve seen people cover it in dung but never soil. I take it you don’t open it again to add a 3rd cut,
Yes 9 out of 10 pits is covered with sand in my area. I guess it's a no go if you have rocks in the soil. If I want to open the pit up again I only put some sand on the edges of the sheet, would be a dick of a job to take this amount of sand off every time o_O

Like the apron and the cob. Do you drive the cob or just the miniature?
He was given the apron for Christmas and loves it!
I only drive the Shetland, and then ride Darcy, as safe as houses as the cob is in traffic his reactions are very quick and he’s very forward going so I worry on our single track roads that something would happen!
