Few more acres knocked off the list, swapped my jd for a fastrac for a load, must say i miss the comfort. Couple more days then a break untill the rest is fit.

Seems fairly early for maize....that in the second picture looks very mature. Is that all for AD?

Last bit of barley stubble to go into grass this year. Stone guard still on screen as there is more spreading to do soon.

Driving back from that job saw this odd bird beside one of the lakes. I have never seen one before let alone get this close with a phone camera. No one round here knew we had any about at all.

It is a Bittern.

Then it flew away to prove that it wasn't ill. I know that isn't a calendar picture.

small boy has a minor ‘incident‘ on his Quad so today I took him to the local bike shop and kitted him out properly:smug:👌
