Seems fairly early for maize....that in the second picture looks very mature. Is that all for AD?
Yes all for AD, the first two pictures are from opposite ends of the same block of fields, steep rolling banks, green at the bottom of the field and cobs on the floor at the top, has taken a battering in places from wind to. Doing the best 500 acres the other 1500 we will wait for.

It’s not actually the guy I’m helpings tractor, the Massey in the pic is. The Deere was delivering the trimmer but it’s stopping on hire to catch up. Appreciate that, will ask, but we are trimmer snobs and use vfr’s so the head sits by the door :cool:

Grand day yesterday so we were combining untill we weren't, had to get all intimate again...

least the old deere had the decency to give up before 5pm, the above arrived at the shop at 830 this morn 👏 chucked it back together and started after lunch
