I reckon its 40 years since I last did this type of sheep fencing:

You wouldn’t want to do too much of it admittedly, but for a short stretch like this it was ideal. No battery to go flat, no energiser to be pinched, and the deer won’t flatten it. Does anyone know if you can still get this kind of wire?

At a public bbq in a really nice little park / playground in the centre of town, that we clean EVERY day of the year.
WTF ??
I picked up 2 used forks nearby & the pack looks nearly full.
if you couldn’t be àrsed or organised enough to bring a few forks from home, surely you could at least take the rest of the pack home.
Ive seen the same thing countless times with disposable plastic plates or cups. No wonder we have problems with the environment . . . View attachment 935427

My daughters teacher had a zoom meating with her today.

Teacher: In the shortest amount of words possible can you discribe what your dad's occupation is?

Daughter: What's does occupation mean?

Teacher: Job.

Daughter: He's a $hit shoveler!

Teacher: I don't think there's such a thing!

Daughter: You want to bet Miss!

this was what we found on Thursday morning, the river burst its banks and filled in the trench for the rabbit wire, we had to leave it for a day and work on higher ground
View attachment 935767This was today, what a difference, after 3 days of having to change our wet clothes at midday we were ready for some sun

Jeepers that must be sandy to take that much water and be able to take a digger on a day or so later
