If that were me I would want a second tractor to use instead of swapping about. It’s bad enough change machines over a couple of times a week and back, let alone wheels as well!
I agree

Get an impact driver as well as one of those wheel lifts then watch your wife doing the tyre changeover when she has finished planting millions of plants or cooking. They are dam good aint they it makes changing wheels quite a pleasure but I bet its tedious several times a week
In time we might do, but the vario was bought specifically for the veg and I can’t justify another tractor. We did use the 35x to plant with last year, but she’s relegated to hoeing this year!If that were me I would want a second tractor to use instead of swapping about. You seem to have a lot of grass about .
And large humbug sett under that hedge
I do wish a great harvest to you!Mung beans getting closer to harvest. They are getting that old man / nursing home / urine smell when you walk thru them
We are aiming for 80 - 90 % black pods before we defoliate them. The trouble with Mungs is they are “indeterminate” & continue flowering while they have moisture & warmth
full profile of moisture under the beans following recent big falls ( flooding in areas, you may have heard / seen something on your news services ? Maybe ? Probably not . . . ), potential for double cropping a winter cereal straight after harvest ( am still worried about mice - they will eat the seed out of the ground ), or maybe carry it through till spring for sorghum or dryland cotton. A decision I’ll have to make
Best day of the year.View attachment 953212
