Old piggeries look in good nick
Thanks. Photos tend to hide the true picture. The piggery with the small doors was for sows and young pigs up to weaning at 5 weeks. Built in 1984. The other wider frontage is the Suffolk piggery of 1972. Not sure why it was called that, but I guess it was a style from that area. All I have done is remove the internal walls and repaired the roof when needed to make use of an otherwise redundant building.

Like loads around me hay and silage has been flat out over the last week or so . Here’s the tail of my bit.

The old and the New !

Near neighbour with IH 674 and 8th mower cutting it
Me with my 674 spinning it out .
I got them all close to the stack with my JCB
Contractor mate rowing and baling big square bales.
Contractor mate getting his mate to wrap it ( son of one of my timber suppliers) contractor stacking it . Sod’s law the year I don’t want hay it would have been easier to make hay than haylage.
Topping the dyke backs out
