First time I’ve had birds following a Direct Drill, can only just seen where the GD’s been 🤷🏼‍♂️

Not sure how the pods will cope with autumn weather mind three weeks till harvest I doubt it days getting short now and it still looks Pretty green

It was nov 30 th last yr, hopefully should be ready by 15 th this yr. Last yr august was really cold and wet, this yr a lot better.
Pod shatter is a risk in the wind, but swaths rotting is a bigger risk i think

You could always harvest the “plant powered” caterpillars and then use them in eco-friendly meals in the kitchen.

That takes “sustainability” to a whole new level…..and they are fully renewable too-an endless supply. Have I mentioned net-zero carbon?
