But he said ring feeder, not round feeder. Perhaps it’s for feeding rings? But its square?
Ah for feeding arseholes? But he said ring feeder, not round feeder. Perhaps it’s for feeding rings?
I designed the concept in my head . Halfway through the build I had the feeling it may be a bit heavy. However in my defence all the materials were ‘found’not purchased. The critical dimensions were 1) bulls not getting their heads stuck & 2) it must be exactly 1748mm square which is one crash barrier cut in halfBut its square? Good job mind.
I can tell, if you were going to do the job properly you would have used some bent crash barriers to make a ring feeder?I designed the concept in my head . Have you thought of 2nd hand conveyor belt. That's what I made a heap out of 14 years ago. Still perfectly fine.Today at work, the quick fix and bodges or workshop projects thread not quite sure prototype cattle trough out of recycled scrap angle iron from old grain bins and waste blue barrels, anyone got any spare plastic 205L drums they want rid off I could do with another 33 so I can replace all the rotten wooden ones in shed
i think its cock on! last a liftime.Think your neighbour might have a point!
Patent it quickly before IAE snatch the idea to make their feeders more durable - not! More than the galvanise holding yours together.I designed the concept in my head . I’ve seen that used too. But I didn’t have any of that to handHave you thought of 2nd hand conveyor belt. That's what I made a heap out of 14 years ago. Still perfectly fine.
Very nice, keep them coming.Really pleased with our new grab from RSL , we can load the chipper a lot quicker with the digger than the timber crane . Today we were on some good wood that we had stacked in the yard and could put a good load on our 16 ton trailers in about forty minutes ( about 8ton of chip ) .View attachment 998294View attachment 998295View attachment 998296View attachment 998297

If you want more pics or dimensions just askMight have to copy that for our new bull pens
Don't think you can over engineer one of those , they rot away at best of times so more metal the betterMade a ring feeder . My neighbour says I’ve over engineered it ? View attachment 998371View attachment 998372View attachment 998373View attachment 998374
