Thought it was just me grazing 'osr' 🙄
it got away from the sheep and bolted and they went mad for it , but left the bulbs ! Are the cows clearing the bulbs up well enough?
No, since its bolted the bulbs have turned mushy inside as the energy has gone up the stalk, so they are just trampling in the bulb, they go mad for the flowering tops, its giving them a shine to their coat :D

Phone call this morning could I go check the electrics on a fan in a checked shed as it wouldn’t work. Fan was at the far end of the shed so first thing I did when I got there was switch the fan on and looked down the shed to see if it started. Lucky for me it didn’t as when I walked to the far end of the shed to investigate I found this

would of been a fair few feathers flying around if the fan had started!! Then got back to farm to see calving 2022 has started.

Ours hasn't gone to mush , they still firm but won't eat then so suppose they taste carp! Know what you mean about the fence , I just let em have it in the end but think you got to much to go at still , it's a usefull 'extra' green crop when it bolts for them to eat before the grass has kicked into gear 👍
Thought it may do them some harm with all that fresh brassica but they seem OK cos they acclimatised to it I suppose 🤷

not the prettiest job I’ve ever done but 3 feet of slop in places and the drains are now emptying properly

I’ve advised giving it a quick clean late summer when it’s settled a bit, wether they will or leave it another 20 years to get in this state remains to be seen

Think I might these lot have it in another week or so, thinking it might turn a bit dry and stalky after flowering has finished
