And now for something completely different!
Aunty Beeb is in the village filming Father Brown. Never seen anything like it. 70 people on site. The bottom of the Farmyard is full of trailers of dressing rooms, Hair salon, Costume truck, catering and generator, and Editing suite.
Trying to stack my haylage is interesting!

And then there’s the paddock outside my house for all the crew and Actors.

Elaine Paige is one of the cast.
Maybe she could sing for us.
Don’t cry for me Argentina!

And maybe I could get Mark Williams to revert back to his Fast show days and say : “TODAY, I WILL MOSTLY BE A FARMER!”
great opportunity to get a free haircut then (y)

This morning I drove into the yard to find sockets and spanners scattered everywhere, it turns out overnight some hua has helped themselves to pretty much all my tools. Tool boxes, tool trolleys, welders, plasma cutter, oxyacetylene set, all my Milwaukee gear, my new water blaster, all my boxes of consumables, tap & die set......pretty much everything of value. And to top it off they've even stolen petrol from the fuel tank.

Rural crime on the rise, police that don't give a sh!t, government that intends on making everything the farmers problem. I swear one day soon I'm going to pull the pin on this bulls**t industry.

You see those feckers on the news tonight robbing that jewellery store in broad daylight. Everyone stood round watching and filming them. Looked like there were only two of them, Skinny buggers too I was waiting for someone to kick the shite out of them but it never happened.

Poor old Hilux is getting a few more hero bruises.
Roo hit me in the side last night, actually rocked the Ute when it hit. Yeah, ok, only cosmetic damage ? Until I went to open the door. Hit just under the door handle & has twisted the whole door, so it is jammed tight against the pillar & can’t be opened.
Oh well, I rarely have passengers . . .

at least it gives me another reason to get the drivers side fixed that’s been like it for 2 years now. If you look carefully you can see the indents from the individual vertebrae in the tail when it hit

only the other day I went over a cattle grid & all my ABS & TC lights came on & stayed on. Brakes aren’t real good at the moment either. Hopefully just a dodgy sensor or something.
They’re nowhere as tough as the good old 75’s
About due for a couple of new rear tyres as well 🤣
