IBC taps are junk. Use the fitting suggested above or another form of adapter from IBC thread and put a lever valve.Yes, its got a fitting with a hose tail on it to feed a trough. But I need to replace that butterfly valve. This IBC is on a trailer and also used once a day to fill 300l troughs as well. So it is opened and closed a good few times a day before spending the night hooked up to a trough. Sods law its a fairly new black IBC as well.
Do you like the sub disc? I have contemplated one for cultivating and leveling ex potato fields after harvest. Can't find one cheap enough (or near enough) though.Finished clearing bales then started with the subdisc. Change of feet due. Spots of rain on and off all day. At least I wasn’t on my phone whilst driving
Yes does a good job which suits my light soils. Sometimes it could do with a second set of discs like this weeks job. Cheap wearing metal. I bought mine second hand from weavings. It was about half new price from memory.Do you like the sub disc? I have contemplated one for cultivating and leveling ex potato fields after harvest.
