Yes, its got a fitting with a hose tail on it to feed a trough. But I need to replace that butterfly valve. This IBC is on a trailer and also used once a day to fill 300l troughs as well. So it is opened and closed a good few times a day before spending the night hooked up to a trough. Sods law its a fairly new black IBC as well.

IBC taps are junk. Use the fitting suggested above or another form of adapter from IBC thread and put a lever valve.

Do you like the sub disc? I have contemplated one for cultivating and leveling ex potato fields after harvest. Can't find one cheap enough (or near enough) though.
Yes does a good job which suits my light soils. Sometimes it could do with a second set of discs like this weeks job. Cheap wearing metal. I bought mine second hand from weavings. It was about half new price from memory.

Finished combining and contractor baled it too. I would have left the swath a day, but I won't be the one handling them in winter.

Nearby neighbour was cutting too until a smoke signal went up, followed by 2 fire engines. That is the third fire I've seen today in the local area. Not going to be a good year if that happens..

My good lady was determined to be given the chance to do some caterpillar control so after I gave her a bit of training yesterday there was no holding her back this morning (there are pointed cabbage amongst the fat hen!)
