Harvest finished last week, no spuds till Sunday what to do? Another trip up the Long Mynd today for a picnic.

The verge is about 1 metre wide at the widest point @Philip Watkins there is about 300mm left at this passing place.

Nothing to stop you till you reach Carding Mill Valley.

That does look quite like Banks Peninsular if you added in a coastal view, some cloud and another 1000 feet or so.

Sorry don't have any of those. I did go on to Craven Arms who have a Woolly Mammoth they found in a quarry. I think it's dead but I was too tight to pay the fiver to find out.

Try the old 1950's style parachutes, they were quite brutal!

I did a solo jump with one in the 1980 at Shrewsbury Skydive centre

Was that static line from about 3000ft? You wouldn't be travelling quite as fast as 10,000ft freefall

"Fun jump" , was last years christmas present.

That's it. I was first one out and nearly shat myself when they opened the door

Until I remembered I had a parachute on and was there to jump

I wish I'd kept going, we could have jumped for £10 per jump after that and gone freefall after 10 good jumps
