My son was participating in this 3 day cycling event. Minsterley yesterday and RAF Shawbury today.View attachment 675946

He was lucky to make it through Minsterley with his wheels still attached !!! [emoji23] being a native of neighbouring Pontesbury we like to give them a reputation

We have had some lovely holidays on the Isle of Wight.

My busy day off included a early morning ride started at 5.15 am

. Then went strawberry and cherry picking at a local pyo.
This afternoon it's my daughters birthday so having a hot tub party with her friend's. I will be in there this evening before it goes back tomorrow.

Coming to the end of a hot sunny week on the Isle of Wight. Cable car ride down to the beach near the needles and a fast boat ride round the lighthouse.

Stopped off in Yarmouth for a meal on the way back and my daughter came out with a proper first world problems line,
"I can't decide between the sirloin and the lobster"!

Our son , 17 , played in a charity football match in the village yesterday . He’s on the left .

They raised around £350 for a local hospice & Yorkshire cancer research . As for myself, I had a cold beverage in the evening .
