Plums I think. Although maybe apples. Lots of fruit. We just fill it with plums and shut the lid. Yeasts on skins do the rest. Sit it in the sun and watch it bubble away. Once it settles down, electric drill with special chopping tool minced it all and I fish the stones out. Resulting brew is fairly keen.

Funnily we have been thinking what to do with all our pear, apple and plum fruit.
Was looking at possibly making cider..
