We had a card from our postie, so we popped in to the sorting office as soon as it was open on Sunday morning

Freddie loves receiving post and there was a parcel from the Scottish Belted Galloway Club containing two awards for his Under 10 submissions to this (Covid) year's Young Handlers Competition. He also got a commendation and I am truly proud of him for facing up to some difficulties he had with his own written submissions

At the end I will post some of the videos taken in September as part of his overall submission. Considering one heifer had only been on a halter once before and a year earlier, I was relieved and pleased with how it worked out!

Thank you to Jennifer Taylor the Show Steward and to the judges, the sponsors who helped make it possible and mainly to the 55 contestants who made it all possible
As Freddie rightly remarked it's about the taking part and about the cattle that's important - wise words from an old head on a young body !
Let's hope next year we can return to more conventional showing and Young Handler competitions

Well done Freddie - it's great to see such enthusiasm!

On a side note, you might want to censor the address on the package picture.

hebden bridge is the next town down from me.
lesbian capital of England it’s know as locally
It’s a proper tourist hotspot with hard castle Craggs. All the town/city folk go there for there weekend walks and then go window shoppping in the town.
there’s nothing open only bakers butchers food outlets/takeaway cafes etc.
it’s just soddin busy with idiots that won’t stay home everyday sadly.

Prototype base for army. Spent ages painting a lovely ruined stone with moss and lichen and the like....then bunged a spooky fog effect on top of it. It's actually made from teddy bear stuffing. Anyway, done now. 35 more on the table to finish.
