Some good classics there.
Yes been a very good day from old classics to modern day tractors What I liked about the run was well organised and promoted well and every village they when through , the village knew what time they would be coming through so there was a lot of on lookers. Which the wife and myself was onlookers as well which we drove around a lot and went to the pub where they were passing and listening to the comments of the general public was great . This is what I noticed the general public did not Know the make of the tractor but the ones got the biggest cheers was all the modern tractors which was painted black
And the day was finished with a barbecue , ice creams and a bar ,raffle and an auction which was all donated and no one making a profit on the day and all done in the name of charity.

Tornament season is creeping up. My winter army is based on the White City of Minas Tirith. To do this, I have got some bases 3d printed. I spent this evening painting a marble effect on them, which will next be lacquered, the gaps in the "stone" shaded with a low viscosity enamel. Then tidied, and gloss varnished.

Only another 48 to do.

Oh and the chaps who stand on them.

Day out at Brooklands Museum, Surrey. Highly recommended. Great to see lots of old racing cars, planes, bikes, buses. Also learning about the history of the old circuit. Great tour on Concorde, which is a plane that still inspires the children, even though they have never seen it fly. A bonus was a parade of VW Corrados from the mid nineties. View attachment 976164
