Saturday night in London. Stayed just by St. Pauls. Best steak ever at Hawksmoor in Borough Market. Also no shortage of people tucking in to steak either. Then a wander back through London on way home.

Bit warmer than Ceredigion here in Vendée. Loving my first camping holiday with my wife and daughter! My in-laws are here too which makes thing so much easier with a very active (soon to be) 3 year old!

Yes the wallet did take a hammering. I have been wanting to go for a couple of years, and we were not disappointed. My wife's Monkfish was more than my ribeye!

Another major repair job on - the Ottoman has been vomited on one time too many by the children!

…and the cover is off, along with all the edging staples. I always make a point of removing those, as hitting the old ones with the new staples is very annoying. Especially if it’s something awkward like a car seat!
I had a tea upgrade, too

Road trip today down to Bungay via Norwich, back home via Beccles for chippy lunch, Dunwich beach caff for Ice cream, steady chug back cross country to A14 at Stowmarket, via A1120.
Someone drilling with tracked JD 8370 and big Vaddy, by Badingham I think, 500kg bags of seed, couldn't immediately think what it would be this late?
Lots of work been done to A14 Godmanchester towards M11 Eastbound since we last went that way, huge amounts of landscaping and lakes dug, etc.

Saw a very curious grain store en route, wonder if replacement sheets still available..

Have to say, notwithstanding we have seen some of the hungrier soils on offer, that the dry weather has done you chaps no good at all. Plenty of thin, short wheat in full ear and plenty of grass weeds. Doesn't bode well for a vintage year...

You have to wonder what the old folks would make of a wedding venue in the old shippon/ loosebox etc. I'm living in similar, and can't make my mind up what my Gramp would say; but whatever, I expect I've done it wrong .

It is, very picturesque and the roads from here to there are some of the best motorbike roads in the UK. Known locally as the Suffolk TT

We stayed in Sandsend a few weeks ago. I was glued to my binoculars and ship finder app!

There's a road like that from Rhayader to Aberystwyth.....a proper motorbike road ......unfortunately loads of accidents

This is the road we are on. we are at daughters and son-in-law place halfway along .its a motorbike paradise .
Lots about it on YouTube.
We heard a noise coming along few weeks go we thought it was a F1 car coming along but it was Honda 1050 CBX

Most of the roads in mid Wales are like that with a biker stuck under crash barrier on bad bends and as you say some don't go home
