Discovered that we must have left the pantry door open when we went out to lunch today and left the puppy in the kitchen.

Went to find one of our pigs that had decided not to pig in one of the arks that we bought for her...

She had made a lovely nest, and had about 16 piglets.
I took her some straw and some food.

Went to YAMS
didn't take any photos.

Saw @Nearly @Drillman @Spud and someone I can't remember their forum name...

We've been given a JCB 3CII
Went to try and get it started to drive it back to the yard so we can low loader it home.
Had it cranking but not fast enough...

It hasn't moved for about 3 years.

Good to meet you @TripleSix - is that jcb fordson or nuffield based? - A farm where we do stubble to stubble has one, we used to used it to fill the drill, lifting the bags with a big hook welded in the bucket. I used to push it off with the front of my front press, then run after it down the field and climb aboard up the back!:rolleyes::jimlad::whistle::sorry: #waybackwhen

Can you tow it off? Like any old diesel, the hard bit is turning it over fast enough, our old 4600 was a pig to start, but itd go in two yards if you towed it.

Leyland based, both the front and rear buckets are sat on the floor so I don't think it'd tow off.

I think if I buy it a new battery it'll go, the one on it was dead flat and it was below freezing so jump leads are never gonna cut it...

Good old machines if a bit heavy for the little engine. Front loader built like a tank, in fact the whole machine is built like a tank.

Rumour has it that the prototypes were left for the factory staff to "play" with when off shift with the instruction to see where they broke. Those areas were then beefed up, hence the final product.
