Too soon to put ewe lambs back with ewes?

Weaned my ewe lambs on 30th July. Would this weekend be too soon to put the ones I’m retaining back with the ewes? Want to move my rams into a field but it shares a fence with where the ewe lambs are and I’m not sure this is a good idea...

Six of them are going soon which leaves just three. I don’t have the space at the moment to keep them all separate. I’m running two flocks and plan to put them both together once I’ve downsized a bit. Then I could maybe split it ewes and ewe lambs instead.
Are your ewes on poorer grazing because their condition is too good??

I wish that was the case, the ewes are on brown grass, lambs are on greener grass. We need rain (actually pissing down now, but just running straight off!) 🤞it will help.

We’ve not had it that dry here to turn the fields bad. Worse time was back in April/May when we had a month of abnormally hot weather. Same then when the rain came, just rolled off. You need a good steady light rain for a day or so to sort it out. Hope it improves for you. Bad enough dealing with crap grass in winter, let alone summer too.
