Tool boxes

Not tool boxes to carry around with your tools in, but the boxes the cardboard boxes the tools came in. Does anybody else keep them in case the tool needs to be returned for repair ? Seem to have a lot in the workshop at the moment, including the polystyrene packing pieces. My thinking is if I keep the box then perhaps tool won't need to go back. B&D strimmers only last me a year or so and are generally sent back for replacement under warranty, so I keep the boxes which are quite bulky. Bought an expensive to me bench grinder last week, but as the sticker Made in China was spotted, I made a note to keep the box.

Keep a lot of boxes for household stuff as they’re bought online or from chains etc. We kept a 40” tv box in attic, tv stopped working so needed to return it. Could we find the receipt (usually in the box), managed in end with credit card receipt etc. Never bought anything like that in store since, buy them online for an email receipt. Found the box for my Mikwaukee drill the other day when having a sort out and I still keep an orbital sander in its box with replacement pads and it’s spanner etc.
