Right, the Oz guy I know has both and suggested the non one key to save money. TBH the deal I posted seemed ok as I don't have any other Milwaukee kit and need batteries and charger.

I can imagine with the quoted nm you could easily shear something. Do you have a manual dial setting for torque on that? The one key version you can set torque from your phone apparently, not that I'm bothered.

No, just high and low power, depending on how hard you pull the trigger. Soon get used to it though.

FR Jones have got some of the last Husky 550XP Mark I saws for £378.95 + the dreaded.

I’m a Stihl man myself, but sounds a pretty good punt for any of you Husky saw owners.

Is it me or has Draper got expensive of late? A bog standard grease gun is around €30 with the flexible delivery pipe another €6. A set of six punches was also €30 and the shop wanted €130 for a digital tyre guage after "as much discount as he could give me"!. I'm familiar with all the arguments about spending on good tools but Draper has rarely let me down in the past.

Draper is just OK in my book, their expert range is good tho, however it's not a brand I'd personally go for unless I couldn't get anything else the day I want it.
One things for sure, there is nothing getting cheaper these days the way things are going.
Draper probably think a lot more of their tools than a tradesman dose and so are rising their prices to suit their ego, alas its no facom, mac or snap-on their selling but cumming close to the prices the way their going.
Sealey and Clarke are going the same way, up in money for mid range tools.

Fully agree, I started my apprenticeship with Draper (mainly because I got them at cost +10% from the stores) then as I broke or found out my most used stuff I replaced them with Snap-on, Facom and Britool. Sealey have definatley gone that was, and Clarke are borderline now, but the VAT free promotions at Machine mart help them
