Other half’s family supply tools to mines in Botswana and South Africa and are Stanley agents so have access to all the brands under that banner. Pretty sure Hilti black and decker and dewalt are under the same ownership but might be wrong on that.

I am pretty sure Hilti is privately owned. One of the few, like Makita.
