Top 100 posters

I made a claim in another thread about BBC bias about how much content on TFF is posted by the most frequent, or top posters, if you will.

I can see that the top 20 posters have made almost half a million (ok well 467,709) posts.

But can we actually see the total post count (and possibly breakdown) figures for the top 100 or 200 posters on TFF please?

fact is that on most forums a minority of members post the majority of content.......makes us regular posters 'circus animals'?

Just an observation.
A quick look at this section and it seems quite a few questions go unanswered.
That could also be down to folks not being sure who to tag.
Coupled with the day to day presence being that largely of volunteers and members not wanting to bother them.

Would it be an idea to ask the moderator team to scan this section when they log in as a matter of protocol?
I cant speak for the other mods browsing methods, but I often look at this section from the main forum page which will show the latest thread with a new post in here, until today there hadn't been a post in this section since November, so I noticed the fact that there was a new thread today and came and read it.
As moderators I would say we are always contactable either via PM or tagging in a post so anybody please don't hesitate to do so if help is needed it wouldn't be bothering us that's partially what we are here for. We do all have normal day jobs as well but were often on here throughout the day via smartphone etc if something needs sorting. A list of staff members can be found in the 'Members' area if folks are unsure who they should be tagging.

Yes, to be fair my quick look did reveal you to be active in this section.

I only looked at questions posted over the last few pages and yes they don't come up too often.
There is still however unanswered posts among them. One of them even tags multiple mods as you suggest.
It may be they have been dealt with by pm, I don't know.
Making the full team more mindful of this section may be a positive.
Like I said, just an observation.

Also as an afterthought, this thread is now a week old and we are nowhere nearer answering the op's question. Which he wanted for an active conversation.
The time may have now passed.

trouble is to answer the question properly needs about an hour of digging into the backend that only myself or Chris can really do and frankly we juts haven't had the time recently, In the week since the thread was started we have to get an entire 100 page issue of Direct Driller written / complied and away to the printers, the TFF Callander finished and to the printers, 2 days aways speaking at events for me, a set of accounts done for Farm Marketplace, several meetings with advertisers and FMP suppliers, a post launch phase of Classifieds development specified and signed off to be completed next week, and a load of other bits and pieces ......... oh and I did a bit of actual farming one day as well ! (and I admit to 1 day away shooting in Devon !)

all our own fault I know, truth is we have grown beyond our resources recently and really need more staff ......... so if anyone is looking for a job or has a son or daughter that might be then get in touch !
