The “heroes” Glasshouse has been speaking with have been short changed again by our incompetent Scottish leaders, as those who returned the loan application form are meant to be getting 90% of BPS!!!

Amazing how gullible some SNP followers are!!
So you would prefer the rpa late paymentsubsidy system or better still the tory system of sweet f all ?

I would prefer that the ‘government’ did their ‘day job’ instead of flouncing around like royalty.
Thinking back, when the CAP reform was being implemented in 2014, and farmers turned up at the local show to hear Richard Lochead on the RPID stand tell us the details we needed to know, and all he did was tell us how farming would benefit under ‘independence’.
It’s clear to see when, why and by whom the seeds of the CAP f**k up were sown.

Well if you and many other farmers had voted for independence, we would not now be facing the stormy waters of brexit.
You could moan for evermore that lochhead screwed up, but at least they are sorting it now and cash is flowing.
Would you rather the rpa paid you sometime next yr?

No loan offer letter here yet, entitlement transfer from 2015 still outstanding so no sfp for those hectares last year, another entitlement transfer from 2016 also outstanding.
I'm not feeling that grateful towards Scottish government tbh.

Sorry, but if we had independence we would be out of the EU and have to re-join, use the Euro etc. Remember when wee Alex promised the worse case scenario of North sea oil income was £10Bn ( I think) a year after the referendum it had for all intents and purposes disappeared. How would Crankie balance the books then? I am not against Independence, (though I do believe we are stronger as the UK) but I genuinely do not believe we can balance the books.
The fiasco of payments is a Scottish government issue, like the imminent collapse of the fire servive and the police force struggling to pay their VAT bill, I will not go on as I am not into the political debate, but to loan some farmers cash because you know that you will not pay them what is owed is borderline criminal, remember this is not an act of generosity, it is the third year they have failed to get it right. It will be the third year they will have been threatened by fines by the EU for incompetence. I do not want a 80 or 90 or even a 100% LOAN, I want a payment of what should be mine!

And independence would have been a bed of roses?

As per @Pilgrimmick above, I'm not against 'Independence', but when it's being peddled by some utterly lightweight politicians who, frankly, look as if they shouldn't be left unattended with scissors, you have to wonder if thats the best team Scotland could have put forward.

And the clowns at westminster are any better?
You are having a laugh!
They are going to sell us down the river, just you watch.
Independence wouldnt be easy, but brexit will be worse.

Well dont worry, the tory blunderbuss brexit deal will ensure zero subsidy and a flood of cheap imports, take your pick.
The uk owes nearly £2 trillion and that is with 35 yrs of oil bonanza.
Scotland will run a defecit, so what?
Independence was scheduled for 2018, so we would still be in the eu, while england pokes out its own eyes.
