Topcon x25 Date

Nice and simple one you'd think.

Yesterday my date and time suddenly altered itself to January 2020[emoji848].

I managed to alter the time however it keeps changing to anything it seems like and im unable to find the setting to change the date back.

Any ideas why its doing this or how to alter the date?

TIA,

EN.

As said its a GPS Rollover date issue. Ensure your X25 is updated to firmware v4.02.30

See below for link to firmware (you may need to register an account with Topcon TotalCare) and update procedures.

Did you observe any other issues in addition to this incorrect date? I guess RTK could be affected if the base had a different GPS date interpretation?

Are there any SW update files available for AGCO variants of the Topcon products (X30, AGI-4)? Would the MF/Valtra/Challenger C3000 update procedure be similar to that of the Topcon X30 (including AGI-4 receiver)?

The Fendt VarioGuide receiver would likely have to be updated with Topcon TRU or Fendt service tools?

It will be FenDias and new EOL update if there is a WN rollover bug/fault in the guidance software.

Although as you know you can check AGI-4 firmware revision using TRU and the 9-pin serial port on the roof, it won’t be the same firmware as Topcon have released for grey AGI-4 as the cream/white AGCO versions.

Mines being swapped to Trimble AG382 and VD03 as we speak. As the WN bug only starts to become apparent from last Saturday onwards, can’t definitively say if there a WN bug on previous EOL releases on AGCO AGI-4

My x25 went back to the correct date this morning and can now map fields again although I've not used it yet to check operation

Interesting, I just checked our AGCO variant of the X30 showed January 5th of 2020. Our Fendt too has an AGCO variant of the AGI-4 receiver (different SW from the Valtra with the X30/C3000 screen) but I did not find the date from the GPS menus, the date on the tractor settings was correct (but not to the seconds, so it cannot be derived from the GNSS receiver). Perhaps Topcon TRU would tell the date from the GNSS receiver.

I did not find any problems with the auto-steer behaviour. Just run a quick test (our Spring season has not started yet, too far to the North you know).
