Afternoon all i've just been told that when traveling on a public road my topper blades should be covered. Does anyone know if this true, if so where can I get covers from. Its a bomford tri wing. Thanks

Did the policeman have a large helmet? He certainly sounds like a bellend.🤐

I’m assuming you heard it from the rozzers of course, rather than somebody that really didn’t have a clue?

There are some great coppers, and there are some downright useless coppers. Unfortunately the selection panels aren't allowed to discriminate against 'incompetent arseholes' any more.

Sound like someone taking the law a bit too far. But I believe the law says that there must be no exposed sharp edges on any vehicle to protect the public - same law that says combine headers, muck forks, etc should have covers over the points.

Knowing the state of most farm topper blades, I'd say you've nothing to worry about.

All valid points. I've got staff member you is refusing to go on the road with the blades uncovered. Hopefully he'll forget about it by the time we start topping next year.
