Topper won’t fold up unless I take weight of it

So when you pull the leaver in the cab in will push out and pull in but if you pull the other leaver it will drop and should lift back up but it will not lift back up had. New seals in the ram and didn’t make a difference

Is it worn on the pivots? Have you tried it on another tractor?

Tryed it on another tractor yes didn’t make a difference and it’s liek brand new onley been used 3 time and parked up for 4 year

I’d strip it down a bit and see if it’s all seized up looks like it’s been outside.

Only mention it as our offset topper folded out one day and not back in. It was probably the cheapest fix I’ve ever had

Rams not bent as it’s double acting and it’s been forced down and bowed the ram rod slightly causing it to stick.
