toppers

i drive both, Bomford at home, McConnell at work, nothing much in it really, ask if you want to know anything specific, neither make a fantastic finish on gallops though. They tend to be better cutting thicker rougher grasses. The blades are very chunky. I have other toppers for a fine finish. Not sure what grass you are cutting. Big positive is they do cover the area very quickly.

Thanks for that, it for paddock work only. the managers are more concerned about the paddocks not getting to high so it looks a mess when I've finished.

Thanks for that it's going to be topping paddocks. The managers are more concerned that I get over the ground before the grass gets too high and so leaves a mess. Thanks for the offer to look at your toppers I'm in Thetford in Norfolk. Thanks again for your help.

The one’s I’ve seen on a big stud farm not far from you were all spearhead if I remember correctly

I would recommend spearhead. I do sell them, won’t give you a sales pitch but they are much more invested in the market (McConnel and bomford do a lot of other things) they have better options with the six blades per rotor and other options.

Also they keep the second hand value very well.

If you would like a price then please let me know

Have you had a look at the Razorback RT500 or RT750 both mowers are able to have harrows attached if you needed to lift the thatching at a later date in the paddocks.
