Hows it gone?
Was thinking roll to make the bugger tiller. What variety if you don't mind me asking? Not sure there's to much to gain by rolling due to the thickness of the thatch but happy to be educated on that, but definitely want to get some Activa S on asap
That is looking quite promising, is all 200 acres drilled with Barrel?Just a quick update, taken this morning

It’s not all as good as this, but it could be a lot worse [emoji41]

Some clover and speedwell I think, tbh, I was more interested in the Wheat
Sorry, I wasn’t trying to diss your wheat [emoji264] establishment as it looks really promising. I was just wondering what it was and if it will posse a future problem.

It went in as well as it could considering the time of year and the thick thatch of dying grass

These were taken 27/12/17, so far surviving the Wireworm and the excessive rain for this area. [emoji106]
I’d be more worried about the wireworm next year, they’ve probably got enough to eat without having too much affect on your wheat. If you go for a second cereal don’t forget the Austral. Other than that beans might be a a useful option.
Plough in from each side and then level cross ways? If not good man on a 360 or bull dozer? As Spring is getting close phase 2 is getting in the thoughts and how to deal with another issue.
I’ve inherited a lot of these in the fields .......

they have been cut with a rotary trencher and the spoil thrown approx 20m across the field. Other than employing a person with a bulldozer just wondering what other suggestions may be forthcoming ?
