Well You shouldnt be blabbing about it in public, nor should they ( official secrets act) .

I'm afraid you will now need to prepare for a knock on the door from the 'officials' .

A large scale lockdown isnt needed at this stage.

Roads are as busy as usual in the daytimes but come 6pm onwards they have been very quiet since Monday night so people clearly are cutting down on moving about as much as is practically possible.

I totally agree thou about Gym's/ Swimming pools etc, they should now be closed asap, also they should put a stop to mass groups of cyclists that are still clogging up the roads, no need for them to be out cycling!
Cyclist have too go out on there own now , group riding been stopped , and is that your big idea too stop Coronavirus. Ban Cycling
This is one of the biggest supermarkets in East Sussex at 6 this morning , no room to park . I only wanted some pills for my poorly doughter. I did not get out of my car . Found a quiet Boots Chemist

No

Its what all the government experts are saying, was a report out this morning, take a read of it is my advice but basically they said that they expect a peak of cases if we have a full lockdown in May/ June time, cases will then be lower for a few weeks in July/ August and then start rising again in Sept, they said the Gov may be able to relax lockdown rules slightly for a few weeks in July/August then go back to full lockdown in Sept untill a vaccine is ready and which they dont expect untill at least this time next year and possible not for 18 months.

Is that the report you declared was complete nonsense and should be thrown in the bin when someone posted the link this morning?

Parkrun for example have cancelled all their runs so why should cycling be any different?

Imo its hysteria and the reaction of the government etc is way over the top for this virus, yes sadly some will die but it wont be anymore than 8/14000 people which is no more than normal flu death rates every year in the UK as long as the elderly/ people with ill health are protected. everyone else should be allowed to carry on with working etc to keep the country/ businesses running.

Some would say that groups of cyclists should be banned anyway. At least you can safely overtake individual ones, or most of them anyway....?
