Normally 200-240 kg ha of N in total for first wheats averages out about 220 kg ha n on most . Always account for n from any manures applied .

I was just going to start a thread with the subject 'How much are you cutting back on N due to the dry weather?' but you beat me to it.

The answer seems to be that you are not.

I've just recalculated my last dose due this week to give a total of 180 on feed, plus 60 for protein (30 solid now, 30 foliar).
Normally I would be 220 plus 60.
Should I being doing the normal dose?? we've only had 90mm rain this year, 10mm since April 1st, BA in the forecast and the clays have cracked already (which is never a good sign).
