There's plenty out there. There's plenty of sh1t out there too. There's only one company who I'd buy tower scaffolding from. Youngman. Only buy once. You can get second-hand stuff ok on ebay and either keep or re-sell after use. https://www.proliftaccess.co.uk/shop/towers/youngman-boss?gclid=CIel1byYldMCFVRAGwodl4kABg
I have a clip putlog system where all the clips are already fitted which saves time and is fine for a one-man-operation. Standard tubes are used as uprights. This is a little heavier than alumunium tower but better for uneven ground.

My system forms an 'independant' scaffold, ie it is not using the house wall to support one side. I have a measurement of 39" in my head which, from memory, is the distance between each putlog with a pair for a scaffold plank butt. I preload the horizontal rails with putlogs then level up.
Here are a couple of pics.

I'm more comfortable on a ladder than a tower for some reason - probably something to do with standing still rather than shuffling around & hoping that you did fit all those safety clips properly :nailbiting::nailbiting:

I did a job once over a stairwell where the site manager insisted on a tower being erected in the stairwell. There were a number of issues - accessing the tower once erected required acts of considerable contortions, nobody could use the stairs whilst it was up and the best bit was that we couldn't actually access the areas we needed to reach. After around 3 hours of faffing about (I.e. time for site managers lunch break) the tower disappeared and was replaced by a ladder & I did the job in 20 minutes.:banghead::banghead:
