Tbh it would do it easily. Just not legally

Ran a 3.2 shogun for a couple years. It was good but no better than dmax.
current tow vehicle is a 3l lwb iveco daily flat bed. I'd pick that any day over any 4x4. Never known any pull and handle so well

16ft. Was a special build by previous owner. 14ft would be better.
The overhang being axle makes manoeuvring the trailer a doddle though

We have got a 3.2 Ranger and a Disco 4 and there isn’t much in it for towing.
The Ranger is a superb towing vehicle

I had a disco 4 it towed very well .it took a bit of getting used to quite easy to overlord on trailer nose weight because air suspension just kept levelling up.but it was Great untill the engine seized or snapped the crankshaft it was expensive enough to run without repairing the engine.so i bought a new isuzu pickup it tows about as good loves my low loader loaded or empty but cattle trailer loaded with fat lambs Great but empty quite bouncy all right on good roads bloody awful on rough back roads.
